What's the Best Electric Toothbrush?

Best electric toothbrush?  There are many electric toothbrush brandsand models to choose from. But only two majors players, Oral B Braun and Philips Sonicare.

Which is the best choice?

I have used and seen good results from both brands. Braun has been on the market longer and has plenty of loyal fans who would never switch.

I was one of them for quite a few years. Then one day...

A Sonicare rep stopped by my office for a visit.

She was beautiful, as all dental sales reps are.

They are easy to spot in a waiting room.

Dressed to the nines, they make instant eye contact, flash you a pretty white smile, and don't look a bit nervous.

She started to tell us about her amazing new product.

Cleans with sonic technology at the rate of 30,000 strokes per minute.

Being a faithful user and recommender of Oral B Braun, I was skeptical.

She quoted studies, let us hold her Sonicare and feel the cleaning action, the usual tactics...I wasn't budging.

Then she dropped the bomb....Sonicare kills bacteria in an entirely different way. Using sonic technology and fluid dynamics, bacteria can be eliminated more efficiently than with a hand held or rotary toothbrush.

She had us.

That was 15 years ago and because I see healthy teeth and gums in Sonicare users, I'm still 100% sold on Sonicare.

Here is a video demonstration of Sonicare technology and fluid dynamics, the driving force behind Sonicare's extra cleaning power:

I still recommend Sonicare. Just the other day, I complimented a client on how healthy her gums were.

"I owe it all to my Sonicare!" Was her quick and enthusiastic response.

Really? All the credit goes to Sonicare?

How ‘bout a little credit for your hard working hygienist?

It wasn't the first time I have heard Sonicare get "all the credit."
I hate to admit it, but she was right, what she does every day at home is the key to good dental health.

Your hygienist only sees you two or three times a year in most cases. You are doing the important part....removing plaque every day.

There are many Sonicare electric toothbrushes to choose from including Sonicare Essence, Elite, FlexCare, and Sonicare for Kids.

Sonicare's latest electric toothbrush, DiamondClean features a beautiful crystal charger that is sure to enhance your bathroom decor.

Be sure to choose one with the Sonicare quadpacer and a Sonicare charger. Sonicare replacement brushes should be purchased every 4 to 6 months.
