How long should I be able to see a blood clot after a tooth extraction

by Sandy

How long will I see the blood clot?

Hi Sandy, Don't worry about being able to see the blood clot. If the extraction site is healing properly, it will feel better and better each day.

It is difficult to get a good look at many extraction sites and you may traumatize the area while trying to see it.

You can judge your recovery based on how it feels vs how it looks. If you are concerned or are having unusual or increasing pain, call your dentist.

Hope your recovery is smooth.
