Tooth Sensitivity after using Sensodyne Toothpaste

by Sarathi
(India)

Its been close to an year, I have started Sensodyne tooth paste.
I realized that I am slowly getting tooth sensitivity which I never had before.

I started using this tooth paste in the assumption that it will be better than the regular tooth pastes like Colgate, Pepsodent... but what have happened is the reverse.

None of my diet, water or eating habbits have changed during this time. I am discontinuing this product.

Hi Sarathi, I have heard this complaint from others as you can see here:

These reactions are rare and are most likely because of an allergy or sensitivity to one of the ingredients in Sensodyne.

I still recommend Sensodyne but only to improve sensitivity. It is not better than other toothpastes or necessary to use if your teeth are not sensitive.
